           University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) is a private college accredited "A" by SK Number: 074/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-IV/PT/II/2013, which centered on the campus of University of Muhammadiyah Malang III integrated, Highway 246 Tlogomas Malang, East Java. University was founded in 1964 and orphaned at an organization Muhammadiyah Muhammadiyah largest universities in East Java.                At present the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) campus occupies three locations, namely at Jalan Bandung campus I 1, II campus in Jalan Dam Sutami 188 A and III college in Tlogomas Highway 246. Campus which is the forerunner of the UMM, and now it is concentrated to the Graduate program. While the second campus, which was the major activity centers, now concentrating on the campus of the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Health Sciences. While college campuses III as an integrated whole essence serve as the center of activity.

Student
        The current number of active UMM many as 18,646 students (Last Update: March 2010) students from all over the country, ranging from Aceh to Papua. The amount could be more if coupled overseas students, from Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Australia and Timor Leste. They have a background of age, cultural, ethnic race, religion, social conditions and the origin of the high school is located. Lecturers and technical staff
        In the academic field, UMM continues to develop facilities and infrastructure to support educational activities, research of international standard and supported by qualified lecturers. UMM also received an award from the U.S. government as a Peace Corps Host USA starting in 2010.

Foreign Cooperation
        UMM has been working with off-campus parties, both from domestic and foreign institutions. For foreign cooperation in progress include: Erasmus Mundus, ACICIS, American Peace Corps, Engineering BGP Netherlands, AMINEF, AIESEC, EESTEC, USAID, AUSAID, American Corner, Corner Iran, and others.

Academic Services
        To provide adequate academic service facilities have been provided to students, ranging means of academic, non-academic, public utilities and recreational facilities. Admisitrasi learning process and supported with ICT facilities and adequate management information systems, thus making the study process to be easy, efficient, and always follow the development of the era.
